Neville Cowan helped Mark Smith (of Wildcats fame) ensure that the Napier Patafees MTB Races were successful … part of that success was also incorporating the awareness of the plight of the rhinos to all the riders and spectators. The Dykes van Heerden Group, also the firm of transferring attorneys that Cowan Properties support, were the sponsors of the red rhino horns that were given out to the first hundred riders to wear on their helmets, and later could transfer them to their vehicles.
PS: Neville’s repaired bike (from a few weeks ago) gave up on the mountain when the chain broke … but he had a nice walk back! Get another bike, Nev.
